Throughout the site you will find donation buttons where you can support with the value of a specific item – for example, refueling a rescue vehicle, a month's worth of dog food , or avalanche equipment . Although the donation does not go directly to the item in question, it gives insight into what items cost and helps the community support operations and projects.

Support that delivers results – and reduces tax payments

The Reykjavík Scouts' Aid Corps is registered in the Tax Office's Public Benefit Register, which gives sponsors the right to deduct their contributions from their tax base in accordance with the rules.

The main points are:

For individuals:

▪️ Deductible contribution: 10,000 – 350,000 ISK per year
▪️ For couples/partners: up to 700,000 kr.
▪️ Reduces local and income tax base (not transferable between individuals)

For operators:

▪️ Deduction: up to 1.5% of annual income
▪️ Possible to also deduct contributions to carbon offsets – up to 3% total
